Engine & Fuel System
The QSL9-G9 engine is Tier IV Final and EU Stage IIIa certified, meeting strict emissions requirements without the added maintenance burden of a diesel particulate filter (DPF). A high-pressure common rail fuel system keeps engine noise and smoke to a minimum, while advanced electronic controls with an integrated after-treatment system maximize fuel efficiency across varying load conditions.
Two-stage fuel filtration ensures reliable particle and water separation, and Cummins Direct Flow™ air filtration supports longer service intervals and easier field maintenance. The dual-speed engine runs at both 50 and 60 Hz, making it suitable for domestic and international deployments.
Maintenance Cycle 500 Hours
Improved from Tier 2 maintenance cycle of 250 hours. Allows for fewer filter changes and more uptime.
Fuel Consumption:
Reduced operational costs vs. Tier 2 mobile power generators
At Full Load: 17.9 gph
75% Load: 14.1 gph
50% Load: 10.3 gph
25% Load: 6.4 gph
Alternator
Stamford 12-lead reconnectable alternator with an integrated voltage selection switch. Permanent magnet excitation delivers consistent, reliable performance under non-linear load conditions.
Generator Set Controls
The C275D2RE runs on PowerCommand 3.3© with Masterless Load Demand (MLD) technology, continuously adjusting power output to match real-time load requirements. This improves fuel efficiency, reduces unnecessary engine runtime, and extends service life. When deployed alongside other MLD-capable units, the generator can share load data across paralleled sets — making it well-suited for large-scale, multi-unit power deployments. A single operator interface provides precise frequency and voltage regulation with integrated alarm and status monitoring.
Engine Instrumentation
Oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, DEF level, and battery voltage gauges. 5-digit digital hour meter. Engine control module includes remote start capability.
Rental Package Enclosure
Sound-attenuated, white powder-coated lockable enclosure with camlock and busbar distribution panel. Equipped with a 24-hour fuel tank (75% prime) and integrated leak detection sensor, housed in a single-wall tank with a 110% fluid containment basin for spill compliance.
Voltage Selector Options
4-position switch (60 Hz): 277/480V 3-phase, 139/240V 3-phase, 120/208V 3-phase, or 120/240V 1-phase. First position also supports 50 Hz at 230/400V 3-phase.
2-position switch (60 Hz): 277/480V or 347/600V 3-phase.
