Heavy-Duty Cummins Engine
At the heart of this generator is a rugged 6.7-liter inline 6-cylinder diesel engine with a cast iron block. This liquid-cooled, 4-cycle industrial engine runs at 1800 RPM for exceptionally quiet operation and long-lasting durability. It responds quickly to load changes while maintaining low emissions, providing dependable power year after year.
High-Performance Alternator
The brushless alternator features low reactance 2/3 pitch windings that excel at starting motors and handling demanding electrical loads. It produces clean power with minimal waveform distortion, even with sensitive electronics and nonlinear loads, and offers robust fault-clearing capability during short-circuit conditions.
Intelligent Control System
The PowerCommand 1.1 electronic control system manages every aspect of generator operation. It automatically starts and stops the unit, precisely regulates frequency and voltage, displays system status and alarms, provides output metering, and shuts down safely if faults are detected. The system meets NFPA 110 Level 1 compliance requirements for critical applications.
Weather-Resistant Enclosure
The green aluminum sound-attenuated enclosure is engineered to withstand 180 mph wind loads per ASCE 7-10 standards while reducing operational noise. It protects internal components from the elements while maintaining accessibility for routine maintenance.
Integrated Fuel System
The 351 gallon dual-wall subbase fuel tank provides 24 hours of runtime at full load and is UL 142 and ULC-S601 listed for safety and compliance.
Regional Fuel Tank Standard Features:
- UL 142 and ULC-S601 listed - Minimum 110% secondary IBC 2012 and 2015 certified - All optional features are seismically certified with this range of tanks and generator sets. Requires factory-installed 2 ft vent extensions or higher.
- UL 142 & ULC-S601 listed - Minimum 125% secondary containment capacity. NFPA & IFC - Capable of meeting NFPA 30, NFPA 110, and IFC codes with available factory-installed optional features.
- Emergency pressure relief vents - Ensure adequate ventilation of the primary and secondary tank compartments under extreme temperature and emergency conditions.
- Normal atmospheric vent - “Mushroom” style vent ensures adequate venting of the primary tank during fill, generator set running, and temperature variations. Raised above fuel fill.
- Raised fuel fill - Includes lockable sealed fuel cap. Lifting eyes - Allow lifting of fuel tank with generator set installed.
